2020, A Year In Review

If you've been following us for a while, you know we like to post an end-of-year review showcasing all of the incredible events we provide rentals, concessions, and management for and the events we produce each year!

As you know, this year was a little different when it came to events and we are glad that we stayed on the safe-side when making choices about how to handle event production.

But, that doesn't mean we didn't do a lot of other cool and unique things this year! Our high-quality tents are perfect for party rentals, festivals, weddings, events and more but as it turns out, they also serve as great shelters and outdoor spaces during unpredictable times.

Our Grade-A Tents were used at some of the first Covid-19 Drive-Thru Testing Sites in the Midwest.

We also were able to help multiple local restaurants stay open throughout the closures with outdoor dining and indoor seating separations. As a locally owned and operated company, our goal throughout this year was to use our products and solutions to help other local businesses stay open in order to make it through the challenges of the closings this year.

This year we also provided outdoor tenting for towns and city's looking to start opening businesses again while still encouraging outdoor social distancing. Our tents made a great shelter to the summer sun while still providing enough airflow to keep citizens safe! Our high quality tents made a great addition to The City of Mason as they worked to promote social distancing this summer with outdoor spaces.

We also provided tent rentals for many local schools who needed to add outdoor space to keep their student safe by making it easier to social distance!

In addition, we were able to work alongside multiple brides and groom to help make their wedding day as special and safe as can be.

"We ended up having to change our original plans for our wedding due to Covid restrictions. We were on the hunt for a tent, tables, chairs and a few other items with just a little over a month in order to keep our same wedding date. Coldiron from the beginning was wonderful to work with! They easily helped me to decide what we needed best for our wedding and even gave lots of options. They came out to view the property and helped us figure out the perfect spot for the tent. Layne, was amazing in getting the design lay-out to us and took our multiple changes in stride. The set up and tear down was a breeze. All of our guests felt comfortable as we were able to space out the tables a little more and we had multiple fans going to keep the air circulating. We were also able to repaint and work on upgrading our inventory. We added many new items to our inventory and worked long hours to make sure each item in our inventory is the best quality we can provide!

We also produced a brand new drive-thru event this year, the Drive-Thru Pop Up Lobster Shop. This event allowed us to safely serve delicious, fresh lobsters while avoiding crowds! This event was held in place of our annual Great Inland Seafood Festival and was such a hit that we might even bring it back in 2021!

We also started working on bringing a trendy wedding option from other cities into Cincinnati, Pop Up Weddings! We are planning to host the first session of Pop Up Weddings on May 15th, 2021 on the Purple People Bridge. These all-inclusive wedding packages are affordable, simple and great for brides and grooms looking to celebrate their love without all of the stresses of a major wedding.

Overall, as with any other local or small business, this year wasn't easy. But we are so proud of the efforts our team put into supporting the community throughout this time. Our hard-working team is one-of-a-kind and was able to travel to set up tents for Covid-19 testing, grocery stores and more all over the Mid-West. They traveled from Michigan to South Carolina while safely following all necessary protocol to keep all customers and employees safe at all times. Our rental gear has always undergone extensive cleaning and it was more important this year than ever that each inch of our rental equipment was appropriately cleaned before and after each rental delivery to ensure safety for all of our customers and employees.

Although this year definitely had its ups and downs, we are so excited for what 2021 will bring for the entertainment and event industry and we can't wait until it's safe to host events and festivals again. In the meantime, stay safe, support local and have a Happy New Year!
